I won't be going into explicit detail for privacy concerns, but I wanted to give a general update on my health in regard to my lack of activity in online spaces recently.
On October 20, 2025 I was transported to the hospital very early in the morning where I was admitted for sepsis, acute renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory failure. All of these issues aside from heart failure have mostly been resolved though I have a few more appointments with my team of doctors to go over a plan of action for the future.
My chronic illness has been progressing further despite all the efforts to try to get it into remission. I recently was told by an orthopedic surgeon that my chances of ever being able to walk or even stand unassisted were not likely, something I have known but my family still wanted to hope for the best. Navigating all of this has not been easy but my main goal is to do what I am able to and be content with things that are out of my control. Attending remote therapy has been very good for my mental health throughout all of this. I aim to keep making things for as long as I can, but offline conventions are officially no longer something my severely immunocompromised body can handle.
I sincerely thank you all for your continued support of my work as well as the kindness you have shown me in online spaces. I hope we can continue to make memories and follow our passions despite the challenges we may face.
